For over seventeen years the Peter Gzowski Invitational Golf Tournament for Literacy has been the largest fundraiser for literacy in the Yukon territory. About 70 cents of every dollar raised goes directly to adult learning programs supported by Yukon Learn Society.
PGI 2009 was accompanied by a enormously successful concert by Peter’s Drury Trio on the evening of June 5, 2009.
Every year Yukoners - business owners, entertainers, politicians, and other influential people - participate in the annual tournament held at Mountain View Golf Course. They are joined by dozens of volunteers, Yukon Learn Learners, and national celebrities for a wonderful day of golf, good times and community development.
